A Conduit of Mixed News & Self Help Information with a dash of humor…
We know what you’re thinking, and we agree; it’s way colder in many other parts of the world. However, when folks in Canada are stepping into a nice warm insulated home with central heating and a quaint little fireplace, those of us in Japan come home to a rush of frigid air that’s as cold or colder than the outside temperature thanks to the breezy, uninsulated nature of Japanese houses.
That’s why were aren’t surprised to find this unconventional product on a Japanese site. Only someone so mind-numbingly cold could invent a sleeping bag with legs.
Thanks to this product, gone are the days of wearing the Snuggie your mom sent you in a care package backwards with one sleeve hole worn on your head like a fuzzy human teapot (true story). Now with the addition of some socks or fluffy slippers, you’re all set to be cocooned in a world of warmth while those around you freeze.
I’ll be the first to admit that this thing looks ridiculous. But I don’t care. Once the days of swimming through the hot humid air of summer are behind us and the chestnuts of autumn have all been eaten, I’m putting the walkable sleeping bag on and going everywhere with it. The only downsides I can foresee are 1) not being able to eat like a human because my hands are wrapped up inside and 2) possibly starting rumors of a mythological creature roaming the streets of Japan.
